Experience at Koele

The Experience at Koele is aptly named, providing a unique opportunity to play through old pineapple fields and deep valley gorges sprinkled with kiawe and koa trees, thickets of eucalyptus, and towering pines. The Experience is nestled within Lanai's lush, green highlands, away from the ocean, offering both a cooler climate and interesting elevation changes. The beginning of the golf course quickly introduces players to both the beauty and challenges of the layout. The first hole is situated on a plateau perched nearly 2,000 feet above sea level, offering views that stretch across the ocean to the neighboring islands of Maui and Molokai. The 17th is the signature hole. This challenging par-4 plays from an elevated tee that sits 250 feet above sea level down to the deepest ravine on Lanai.
