A Filipino tourist visiting Kauai, I find it to be friendly serene well-maintained links course which I played it solo during of drizzle, but not muddy. I love the greens, and the layout of the front nine. Although I get lost in my directions to the tees. It's unlike the wooded R T Jones II courses in the Philippines, but with some similarities. A privelege to have played it.

Played here 4 times in August and once at Poipu Bay. My thought is that while very pretty Poipu was riding on the hype of having hosted the Grand Slam and was really NOT worth the money, although 15 - 17 are three of the most breathtaking holes I've ever played. I found the whole atmosphere at Kiahuna to be much more relaxed, way more locals, which I liked better and the course was at least as nice as Poipu although the greens took a bit of getting used to with the Paspalum !!!! pretty tricky. Also they had a "bounce back" deal going which was too hard to resist, in short I loved this place !! no disappointments here

Kept in really good shape, probably better than Poipu Bay even (at least until Poipu reopens after renovations). It should get a fair amount of play while Poipu is closed, but when Poipu is open, don't miss it.
