Great Muni with unequaled beauty. Can't beat it for the price.

I have been playing this course for several years and continue to love it. As a high handicap older golfer, I love the Pali's stunning beauty, it's fairness, and the friendly staff.

The best asset of this muni is its layout, with sly visual deceptions and intimidations. The tees and greens are usually in good shape considering it tucks into a rain forest sloping up into the beautiful Koolau mountains. The only serious drawback is the condition of the fairways, where, because of climate, the ground is either a bit muddy or quite hard when dry. Divots are unlikely. Much fairway sloping adds to the fun, but the rough is not too bad unless the jungle manages to catch an errant shot. Try not to hit approach shots long.

The location is easily accessible from most places around Oahu. All in all, tremendous beauty, challenge, and reasonable cost.

The web page says that there is a driving range. I drove all the way to the Pali Golf Course to find out that they don't have a driving range. What a waste of time.
