What a great golf outing. I am on business in Hawaii and had not had the opportunity to play Mamala bay. I did not have a tee time and played last Saturday. I had to wait until twilight (15:30) and had to rent clubs. WOW! The rentals were titelist clubs with a Scotty Cameron putter ($350) . Yes , the course is pretty easy but so what. Playing golf in Hawaii, next to a aqua blue ocean is a great experience. I am a high handicap and shot a 90! LOVED IT.

I play this course regularly. The staff is conscientious, the course is well maintained and managed. I've played the other military courses on O'ahu and this one is the only one where the manager gets out and monitors the course.

Great course which is in good condition. Played it again after many years in April 2014 and it still presented the challenges it did in the 1980's. In those days the pro
Am was held there prior to the Hawaiian Open. The pro's in those days did not eat the course up usually shoot 68/69.

Not a very challenging course. Most holes are strait with little to no fairway lining. Honestly, Navy Marine Corps Golf Course, Kaneohe Bay, and Leileihua Golf Course by Scholfield Barracks, in that order are better military courses in Hawaii.

I play this course whenever I'm in Hawaii and have never been disappointed, the course is well kept and the staff is friendly and helpful. If you like this course try Kaneohe MCAS on the other side of the island, the view from the tee on 13 is spectacular.

Mamala Bay is THE most extraodrinary golf value on Oahu. For the price...you simply can not beat this value. Ocean front golf in a laid back and comfortable setting. No rush...no pressure. Mamala Bay is a nice layout with plenty to offer. It's not a jaw-dropping stunner...but who cares for under $50! In Hawaii!! The course conditions are great and the greens are excellent. Well worth it. I give it 4-stars...Sir!

Unfortunately the last time I played this course was in 2008. I did, however, thorough enjoy the course. A beautiful setting with a challenge for any level of golf skill. I always enjoy my vacations in Hawaii and a great part of that is playing the military courses, which rival any of the high priced courses on the island.
    Thanks.
